Kathie Bolles is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and founder of Mynd Works Psychiatry. Having struggled with depression for more than 15 years, she grew frustrated by the trial-and-error approach to psychiatry. She finally found success after being introduced to brain wave and genetic testing guided treatment, which inspired her to develop the Mynd Works Psychiatry Concierge Program as a solution for her own patients.
Kathie takes a "coaching" approach to psychotherapy, acting more as a partner than a standard provider. She understands that her patients are more than just the symptoms they're experiencing; each person has a rich, full life that goes beyond their mental health struggles. With every treatment, she focuses on finding solutions and empowering patients to look to the future rather than being held back by the past.
Kathie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1982 and has been practicing for more than 40 years. In 1992, she earned her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and opened a private psychotherapy practice. After meeting with countless patients who were taking psychoactive medication for their symptoms, in 2013, she decided to expand her career by getting her Master of Science in Nursing. This allowed her to practice both psychotherapy and medication management.
Kathie is amazing. She has changed my world. It is so validating to have a brain map that shows me I don't have a character flaw, that I have a brain based disorder, that should be treated like any disorder, for example diabetes. She has found the right meds for me and I know my life is going to change once I start on the treatment.
Good initial consult! Answered my questions and gave my followup information for treatment. Very helpful when moving back to Texas and needing to find a provider this month.
Straight to the point and didn’t make me feel invalidated about my experiences. 10/10
Very pleased with services
Kathie Bolles has been so supportive to me over the past year I have been seeing her. She helped me to find the right medications, which have really changed my life. She always makes herself available and spends extra time to learn about me and the challenges I am experiencing. I am so grateful to her.
